Poggenpohl/Draenert takes modern dining room furniture convenience to the next level with their “Dining Desk” which incorporates every thing necessary for an uninterrupted dining experience. The Dining Desk opens lengthwise to reveal a secret stash spot for ingredients, while a central stainless steel storage space stows cutlery or cutting boards. Notice the trolleys that roll free of the dining table surface that come with a refrigerator on one side and a cook top on the other. Only one thing stands in most of our ways and that is the $47K price tag. I think mass production needs to find the Dining Desk before there is a sign of a realistic price.

The modern cabinets made by Dutch born designer, Joost van Bleiswijk is the antithesis of the flatpack furniture for they are not screwed or glued together. His collection of No Screw, No Glue modern cabinets as well as other items such as a serving tray, candelabra, lantern and even a trophy are all made of stainless steel. The high sheen of the furniture comes from the all polished stainless steel construction. His magnificently large (and heavy) wall cabinet functions not only as a storage unit but also a fireplace and altar. Although it is a contemporary modern cabinet style, van Bleiswijk pays homage to centuries of past cabinet designs.
