There’s a new “green” office modern building in London, on the shore of the River Thames at One Westminster Place in Southbank. The sustainable modern construction was designed by Sheppard Robson and is wrapped in glass that reflects the sunlight in a rainbow of colors creating a crystal like effect, varying throughout the day.

Flare is a modular, computer-driven system that creates a moving skin for the facade of a modern building and it was created by Christopher Bauder and Christian Perstl. The Flare units are made up of computer controlled metal flake bodies which are by supplemented pneumatic cylinders. A great futuristic outer shell for any building. Because of the shape and size of each unit it can be placed on any designed modern building.
