ANOTHER MINIMALISTIC HOUSE !!!
This house is called simply “House in Iporanga” and it was made by Arthur Casas, and is a beautiful example of minimalistic design. “I always wanted a house in the middle of the forest, in a place where I could relax and recharge my energy”, says Arthur. In the form of two large symmetrical cubes embracing an open space, this house was idealised as his dream house. Arthur’s aim was interiors in total synergy with exteriors. Bringing the outside in are 11 meter floor to ceiling glass windows, on both ends of the open central space. Cumaru wood paneling runs from top to bottom in an attempt to match and blend in with is beautiful surroundings.

JAPANESE MINIMALISM !!!
The pictures here feature a villa two hours outside of Tokyo. You can see the beautiful Pacific Ocean view coupled with a backdrop of the mountains. This house is owned by a Tokyo family as a place to get away. The modern design of this house is really fitting with the light colored concrete walls and the multitude of windows to soak up the great views.
Hats off to the designer,

MINIMALIST RESIDENCE !!!
Designed by Kimmo Friman of Friman Laaksonen Architects of Helsinki, Humlegård House is situated on a small, flat hill so that the north-south line runs diagonally through the building. This is the traditional way of placing a building so that it functions optimally as an energy efficient and comfortable dwelling in the harsh, Finnish climate. Protection from the wind and maximum use of sunlight are primary considerations, and the placement of rooms is as much dependent on how much the room needs heat and daylight as it is on how the residents use each space.
Take care people

MINIMALISM PERSONIFIED!!!
The sleeping spaces both open to the deck and pool as well. Each has its own bathroom – and from the master, the owners can sleep and bathe in the same space looking out at the same view, as the sink and the concrete tub sit at the foot of the bed. The infinity pool blurs the horizon merging it and the sea.
Dream on
Maria
